COLOMBO – The St. Servatius’ College Old Boys’ Association (OBA) Colombo Branch has officially announced a new Executive Committee, marking a strategic shift toward revitalized alumni engagement and institutional support.
Leading the association as the newly appointed Hon. President is Mr. Ruchira Palliyaguruge. A distinguished alumnus and a prominent figure in global sports. His appointment is expected to bring a disciplined, high-profile vision to the branch’s future initiatives.
Supporting the presidency, Mr. SajeewaSapukotuna and Maj. Vibeeshan Perera have been appointed as Joint Secretaries, while Mr. Ashar Hameem takes on the role of Vice President.
The new committee structure emphasizes professional networking and streamlined operations.
Key appointments include Lionel Wagasinghe as Organizing Secretary, JanashiPathmananda as Coordinating Secretary, and DasunEdirisinghe as Media and Publicity Secretary.
The executive team is further bolstered by a robust committee comprising Mr. ChandimaNadugala, Mr. Saman Wanniarchchi, Mr. Upul Somarathna, Mr. Roshan Samaraweera, Mr. SujeewaPathirathna, Mr. Laxman Munasinghe, and Mr. Dudley Yapa.
The primary mandate of the new committee is to strengthen the professional and social ties among alumni residing in the Colombo region. Additionally, the group remains committed to providing sustained support for the college’s ongoing development in education, sports, and infrastructure.
